Manufacture of weight controllers for the disposal of underweight or overweight products, depending on customer requirements.
Basic features
- Graphic screen resolution 240X128 with functions in the Greek language.
- Numeric keypad for entering parameters and being able to connect to a printer or PC.
- Sturdy metal construction.
- Full check weighing function with the ability to display statistics in real time during production. The operator sets the upper and lower limits of the acceptable weight of the product. Parameters concerning the delay time or detection mode (eg photocell) are also set for the synchronized firing of the pneumatic discharge piston so that it achieves the product to be discarded as it moves on the conveyor.
- There are also legible counters on the screen that list in one batch the total, the accepted and the rejected products. Extra statistics that may be requested may be incorporated into the calculations performed by the device.
Statistical data
The weight tester provides statistics in two different formats:
- Histogram of weight distribution of products that have passed. Its graphic display allows the production engineer to observe directly:
- The existence of a systematic error in the packaging system, ie if the average of the passing weights is less or greater than desired. In this way, the production engineer knows whether to intervene in the packaging dosing system, adjusting it to increase or decrease the weight of the packaged product. This optimizes to minimize discarded products.
- The production engineer has a direct perception of the weight dispersion in the packaging system. With this information, he can identify possible problems that have occurred in it.
- Graph of the weights performed on the weighing strip during the passage of the product through it. Graph information can detect mechanical problems when the product enters the weighing conveyor (if it "climbs" or falls sharply or causes a component on the conveyor to oscillate) so that any causes that may result in inaccurate weighing can be easily identified.
